We recommend the following procedure: Explain the "Book to Look" process when you introduce the check-up/second facial by saying something like, "When you schedule your follow-up facial today and share it with at least three friends who don't use my products on the originally scheduled date, you get to select one of these envelopes. We will open it the day of your follow-up facial. One of these envelopes contains the GRAND prize of . Who here feels lucky?"
Remember, they don't get to open the envelope until their class so they don't know what they have won. This gives you extra - and should we say provocative - leverage for classes holding on the original date!
Make the grand prize as grand as you can. This month I am using the statement "$50 of product" which I am creating from the classic spa line! What a concept - solid bookings using discounted product! Other envelopes could contain such things as free eye shadow, blusher, and whatever else you need to give away!
Your kit begins with 30 SECURITY (that your customers can't see through) envelopes for $3.00. You can then elect to add the 30 cards that have the same "Book to Look" logo for an additional $3.00. The cards are blank so that you can identify whatever prize you like.
If you are really careful, the envelopes MIGHT be reusable if your write your customer's name in pencil, but the cards certainly are, simply keep them tucked safely into your date book. That is why the two components are sold separately.
